报告人简介：

Dr. Stephanie Roessler is a basic scientist specializing in translational cancer research. Following her studies in Biology, she pursued a PhD in Molecular Biology at the Max Planck Institute of Immunology and Epigenetics in Freiburg, Germany. She then completed her postdoctoral training in molecular profiling and bioinformatics in the laboratory of Dr. Xin Wei Wang at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, USA.

Since 2013, Dr. Roessler has led a research group at the Institute of Pathology, Heidelberg University Hospital. Her team focuses on hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and gallbladder cancer, integrating molecular analyses of patient cohorts with functional in vitro and in vivo models.

In 2022, she was appointed to a Heisenberg Professorship in Molecular and Functional Hepatobiliary Carcinogenesis at Heidelberg University. Dr. Roessler has led multiple research projects supported by the European Union, the German Research Foundation, the German Cancer Aid, and private foundations. She is the author of more than 110 high-impact, peer-reviewed publications and holds a Web of Science h-index of 36.
